First and foremost, I will be a responsive and accessible city councillor. I will return your calls and emails, and work hard to address your issues. I look forward to connecting with residents during the campaign and learning about what matters most to you. Here are my priorities so far:
Promoting Community Safety
Ensuring that residents and business owners feel safe
Engaging with residents and key stakeholders to promote safety and prevent crime
Addressing the root causes of crime and investing in upstream solutions
Affordability
Pursuing evidence-based solutions on the full housing continuum- from emergency housing to affordable home ownership
Developing neighbourhoods that have access to food, transportation and amenities close to home
Advancing food security so that all residents have access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food
Expanding affordable recreation opportunities for all ages and abilities
Environment
Promoting wheeling, walking and cycling friendliness in all seasons
Protecting biodiversity and green spaces for all to enjoy
Increasing opportunities for residents to both buy local and grow their own food
